BEST SIX 2005 - NUTMEG GRATER CORKSCREW
Again, we should go to Watney & Babbidge's "Corkscrews for Collectors" for an inimitable description - I would recommend that you read it.
Here is part of it. "The Englishman's fondness for the punch bowl was responsible early on for the invention of the silver nutmeg-grater-and-corkscrew combination.
These delightful and original objects are essentially a compact canteen fitment for taking on military campaigns,
or into the country for picnics. They are a welcome changefrom the usual 'T'-shape and the earliest examples have a mace or
acorn nob."
The top half of the mace end unscrews to reveal space for your nutmeg and integrated grater - for instant spicy punch! It is made of silver, although
it is unmarked.
I bought this at auction in the U.K.
